Zero to Fall Real Quick
Between balancing grad school, adulting and attempting to have some kind of social life the past month as literally flown by. Its like I blinked and there was frost on the ground (but really, I took my dogs out this morning and almost cried when the grass crunched under my beat up vans).
I keep having to remind myself to stay sane while trying to juggle all of the things I've committed myself to, but if I've learned one thing in any of these course is that self-care is top priority (I can see my dad shaking his head right now--> but really school is pretty cool).
So, heres what I've been up to the past few weeks (ie. self care in florida and enjoying the little window of fall)
Apple fest where i ate apple everything and got to pick apples with Leslie and Kiersten (not pictured)
I got a call from Chrissy in mid September saying that a visit down to Florida was much overdue so naturally I hopped on Expedia and snagged a deal on a ticket. By October I was in sunny Orlando with my best girls where I got to log much needed tan time and show my support for one of my best friends and her girlfriend at Orlando Pride. Just want to throw a big THANKYOU to crib, katie and sam for making the week so fun!
After a week in Florida it was back to reality and everything Fall. Heres the only pic of murph and yogi I was able to take (at least we tried)
And just like that theres frost on my flowers. At least this little beauty is still hanging tough.
To any of you juggling life, relationships, jobs, school or whatever you might be doing, take a second, breathe and try to enjoy yourself. You'll never have this time again so don't waste it.
