Blizzards, Greenhouses & Skies on Fire

Between the blizzard of 2016 and today's monsoon session of a rain storm it has been hard not to settle into the winter blues. (i self diagnosed myself with cabin fever during the snow storm; it was the worst).  Between school, work, internship & any kind of social life its been a little bit stressful. 

In an attempt to shake things up, my friend Colleen and I made a trip out to Terrain at Styers. Sound familiar? I'm sure it does, because its honestly my little heaven on Earth. We weren't sure how it would be, since it had snowed so much earlier in the week but we lucked out and ended up being there for one of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen. (I looked like an ass running through the garden shop to snap some pics of it; it was THAT good). 

In a time where it is easier to think ahead, I am quickly realizing how important it is to live in the moment. Stressing out about something that you have no control over will simply drive you insane. So keep your friends close, hold on to your passions and take time for yourself.
