The Month that Flew
The past few weeks have been insanely busy. Between internships, finishing my first year of grad school, and all of the special events that have been going on I have hardly had time to catch my breath. This is how I've always liked it though, so I can't complain.
I did a quick pit stop in OC earlier in the month and got to see some of my favorite people and recharge a bit before some of the madness of "end of semester stress".
*disclaimer- I'm counting down the days until I move back. (if you cant already tell)*
I consider myself lucky for falling into such a fun, driven group of girls that are in my graduate program. They keep me sane when papers, projects and internship hours have me close to tears. This is the sole photo of us celebrating year1, but I sure as heck couldn't have done it without them.
In the midst of wrapping up my own things I was also able to be part of a surprise celebration for one of my closest friends. Colleen has worked her butt off, constantly proving that she is going to kill it in the professional world, so when her mom asked for some help in inviting friends for a surprise graduation party I leaped at the chance. I came dangerously close to blowing the secret but her party went off without a hitch and many of us felt it in the morning because of it. PLUS it was the perfect excuse to get some of the old gang together again and we all know I am a sucker for reunions.
The month of May is looking like its going to be just as busy as the past few weeks so here's to the next two days of down time before I hop on a plane for Florida & then move back to OC.
