Bucketlists

Between wrapping up school, starting online summer classes, weddings, birthdays and moving back to Ocean City, I have hardly had a chance to slow down. This morning was the first time that I have actually had extra time to process it all and, as sappy as it sounds, it comes with a wave of gratitude and thankfulness. I have said it once and I’ll probably say it again, I wouldn’t be able to do half the things I do or be who I am without the group of people I surround myself with. They’re all so bright and smart and adventurous and they are constantly reminding me that I can do better, be better and that there is so much more out there than what I see right now. Because of that, I am forever grateful.

Every summer my group of friends comes up with a bucket list. On the list we include everything from family dinners weekly, tourist nights, hikes and camping. It’s a fun way for us to try new things and pack as much into our summer as we can (especially since we all tend to have hectic lives in the off season).  I highly suggest trying it, you’ll learn so much about the people you surround yourself with and you’ll make unforgettable memories along the way. Something that I have also noticed is that by doing this I have also started to compile a list of things for myself (I had always thought of personal bucket lists as a bit cliche) but it's kind of awesome to have something to look at to make goals for myself.

I plan on taking advantage of every second this summer has, I hope you choose to do the same.
