Lancaster, It's been awhile.
Hectic.
One of the things I told myself when I decided to move back to my hometown was that I would try my best to discover new things/places and experience familiar things in a new way. This weekend I jumped right in with an agenda including Terrain at Styers, Central Market and the White Cliffs of Conoy.
Terrain has been one of my favorite spots for awhile now, so when I had extra time to spare after viewing an apartment, swinging by here was a no brainer. Its a outdoor lovers dream and is a place I can easily spend hours roaming around.
Central Market on a Saturday morning is one of the best thing Lancaster has to offer. Tons of local vendors and enough treats to make Bruce Bogtrotter (excuse the MATILDA reference) squeal. I was also able to dip into Lancaster Cupcake to check out what everyone has been talking about. Any place that has a party room devoted to cupcakes is good in my book.
One of the best things about Lancaster is the amount of beautiful places there are to check out outside. The White Cliffs of Conoy were a spot I had yet to visit so on Saturday afternoon my friend Kiersten and I made the drive up to check them out. After walking about a mile down a trail you come to the "cliffs". It looks like you're on the moon (american flag and all) and was super fun to climb around. If you get a chance I highly suggest going.
My life may be a bit messy, but at least I'm having fun while figuring things out.
xx
